Hi, I'm Harji Ram Chauhan, the person behind Coding Stellix. This page explains, in plain words, what information this website collects when you visit, why it is collected, and what happens to it. I've tried to keep the legal jargon out — if anything here is unclear, you can always write to me and ask.

The short version

Coding Stellix is a tutorial blog. You can read every post, copy every snippet and download every project without creating an account or handing over any personal details. The only time the site knows anything about you is when you choose to tell it — by leaving a comment, joining the newsletter, or sending a message through the contact form.

What information is collected

• Comments: when you comment on a post, WordPress stores the name and email address you enter, along with your comment text and IP address. The IP is kept only to help catch spam.
• Newsletter: if you subscribe, your email address is saved so new tutorials can be sent to you. Nothing else is attached to it — no tracking of what you open or click.
• Contact form: messages you send arrive in my inbox like a normal email. They are not added to any marketing list.
• Basic visit data: like almost every website, the server keeps standard logs — which pages were requested, at what time, from which browser. These logs help keep the site running and secure, and they are not used to identify individual visitors.

Cookies

This site uses a small number of cookies to remember things like whether you've commented before, so you don't have to retype your name every time. If analytics are enabled, a cookie may also count your visit anonymously so I can see which tutorials people find useful. You can block or delete cookies any time from your browser settings — the site will still work fine.

Embedded content

Some posts include content from other platforms — for example a YouTube video of a project demo, or a CodePen preview. When you view a page with embedded content, that platform may set its own cookies and collect data exactly as if you had visited their site directly. Their privacy policies apply to that content, not mine.

What is never done with your data

• Your email address is never sold, rented or shared with anyone.
• No personal data is collected silently in the background beyond the basics described above.
• You will never receive marketing emails you didn't sign up for.

How long data is kept

Comments stay on the site as long as the post exists, since they're part of the discussion. Newsletter emails stay on the list until you unsubscribe — every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and it works immediately. Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to reply and follow up.

Your rights

The data here is yours. At any time you can ask me to show you what information the site holds about you, correct it, or delete it completely — including old comments. Just send a request through the contact page and I'll sort it out, usually within a few days.

Third-party services

The site runs on WordPress and uses a few common services to function — hosting, fonts (Google Fonts) and, where mentioned in posts, embedded players. Each of these providers has its own privacy policy. I only use services that are widely trusted in the WordPress community.

Children's privacy

Coding Stellix publishes coding tutorials that anyone can read, but the site does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal details here, contact me and it will be removed promptly.

Changes to this policy

If the way the site handles data ever changes — for example if a new tool or service is added — this page will be updated and the date at the top will change. Significant changes will also be mentioned in the newsletter.
